Jessie Drew Brown

Jessie Drew Brown, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2011 at her residence. She was a native of Walterboro, SC, and lifelong resident of Savannah. She was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church. She was a Realtor and Broker, and was a member of the Savannah Board of Realtor's. Jessie was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Elks Lodge, and was a former member of the Halcyon Bluff Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Drew, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jack Lawton Brown, of Savannah, three daughters and sons-in-law, Jackie and Sam Humes, of Richmond Hill, Cathie and Carlton Parker, Jr., of Savannah, and Jo-Anne and Scott Salter, of Savannah, one son and daughter-in-law, Keith L. and Angela Brown, of Rincon. She is also survived by one sister, Anne D. Arnold, of Savannah, eight grandchildren, Megan, Madison, Nicholas, Brian, Shiloh, Jennifer, Carlton, III, Sarah, nine great-grandchildren, one niece, and two nephews.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 25, 2011 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
Remembrances may be made to St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 9114 Whitefield Ave, Savannah, GA 31406
